The Namo Lakshmi Yojana mentioned in the Gujarat budget by the government to provide monthly assistance to the students of class 9 and 10 has now been implemented. According to Minister Vishikesh Patel, the scheme was announced in the Budget 2024-25 to provide financial assistance to women students in secondary and higher secondary education by covering their study expenses and providing financial assistance to their families. Namo Lakshmi Yojana has been implemented from the first academic session of the year 2024-25.

Objective of Namo Lakshami Yojana 2024
Namo Lakshmi Yojana aims to promote economic and social empowerment of women. The scheme seeks to empower poor and middle-class women by providing them with interest-free or low-interest loans, vocational training, health services and employment opportunities. The main objective of the scheme is to empower women economically, enhance their employability, and improve their status and self-esteem in society.

Namo Lakshami Yojana 2024 – Who will benefit?
- Beneficiary must be from Gujarat state.
- The applicant must be studying in a government or non-government school.
- Girl students studying in secondary and higher secondary schools will benefit from this scheme.
- To avail this scheme, the student must be admitted in class-9.
- In private schools of the state, it is necessary to complete the studies of class-1 to class-8 and get admission in class-9.
- The annual income of the beneficiary’s family should be less than 6 lakhs.
- By following all these criteria and providing necessary documents, women can avail the benefits of Namo Lakshmi Yojana.
How much assistance will be available under Namo Lakshami Yojana 2024?
All eligible girl students from class 9th to class 12th Rs. 50,000/- in 4 years will be given under Namo Lakshmi Yojana.

Namo Lakshami Yojana 2024 – How to Apply?
Beneficiaries have to visit their class teacher to do the online application process. All the above mentioned documents are to be carried while visiting, so your class teacher will make your application online on the official website. No student will be able to carry out this process on his own.
