SSC Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment of 39481 Constable (GD) posts. Eligible candidates are advised to apply for the Constable (GD) post by visiting the official website. Educational Qualification for SSC Recruitment 2024

• Must have passed 10th standard.

Age limit SSC Recruitment 2024

• Candidates between 18 to 23 years can apply.
• 1 January 2025 is the important date for age calculation.
• If the candidate is born before 02-01-2002 or after 01-01-2007, they cannot apply.
• Relaxation will be given in specific categories as per the rules.

Application Fee:

General Class: ₹100/-
SC/ST/ESM/Female Candidates: Fee relaxation.

Pay scale

The pay scales for various posts are as follows:

• Salary for Sepoy in NCB: Pay Level-1: ₹18,000 to ₹56,900
• Salary for all other posts: Pay Level-3: ₹21,700 to ₹69,100
• Along with this pay scale candidates will also get Housing Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and various other allowances.

• Written Test (CBT)
• Physical Test (PET/PMT)
• Document verification
• Medical examination

CBT (Written Test) Pattern:

• Duration: 60 minutes
• Negative Marking: 0.50 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.

How to apply? – SSC Recruitment 2024

• Go to the official website: Candidates first go to the official website of SSC ssc.nic.in.
• Register:
  • If you have not already registered, enter your basic details by clicking on the “New User” option.
  • If you have already registered, log in by entering your registered ID and password.
• Login: After registration, log in and you will get your SSC GD 2025 application form.
• Fill Application Form: Enter all required details correctly. Personal information, educational qualifications, and photos are required to be uploaded.
• Scan and attach your passport size photograph, signature and other required documents to the form.
• Payment of Fees:
  • There is a fee of ₹100 for general category candidates.
  • The application fee is waived for SC/ST/ESM/Women candidates.
  • Fees can be paid online through credit/debit card or net banking.
• Submit Form: After filling in all the details check and submit the form.
• After submission of the form, you need to get confirmation and take a printout of the application.
• Amendment of Application (if required): If you need to make some corrections after submitting the form, you can edit your form from 5th to 7th November 2024.
