Purpose of the scheme
- The scheme aims to provide self-employment to unemployed persons in urban and rural areas. Disabled and blind persons are also eligible to benefit under this scheme.
Eligibility criteria of the scheme
- Applicant must have passed minimum standard IV or
- Training/Experience: Must have at least three months of training from a private institute or at least one month from government recognized institutes in the field of proposed occupation or have at least 1 year experience in the same activity or be a heritage craftsman.
- There is no income criterion.
Age criteria
- 18 to 65 years
Maximum limit for bank loans
- ₹.8.00 lakh for industrial sector.
- ₹.8.00 lakh for service sector.
- ₹.8.00 lakh for business sector.
Rate of subsidy on loan amount
Subsidy will be available for industries, service and business sector as mentioned below.
