KYC At Home Can Be Updated In Your Epf Account, Is A Simple Process

Now PF (Provident Fund) account holders in the Employees Provident Fund ( EPF) will be able to check their Know Your Customer (KYC) online. Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) had customers authorized. Subscribers should change KYC through the online portal of EPFO. You’ll need UAN (Universal Account Number) for this. Process

  • The first step is to go to the EPFO ​​member portal epfindia.gov.in
  • Login with username and password
  • Go to the ‘Manage’ option in the top menu bar
    Select the KYC option from here
  • A new page will open with a list of different document types
  • Submit document number, name as per document and other details such as 
    Now click on save
  • FSC in case of bank details and expiry date in case of passport and driving license.
  • The status of the KYC document will appear in the ‘KYC Pending for Approval’ column
  • ‘Digitally Approved KYC’ status will be seen after the document is verified by the employer
    An SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number

Advantages of KYC update

There is no problem in transferring or withdrawing money if there is KYC. If KYC is not updated, the claim request will be rejected. The EPF member will not receive any SMS alerts if you have not submitted your KYC documents.
